- The initial validity period of the voucher is 1 year, and it can be extended up to 5 years before expiration.
- Once expired, the voucher cannot be extended and can be refunded at 90% of its value.
- Smile Money can be exchanged and held up to KRW 2,000,000. (Up to KRW 500,000 for unverified or non-registered accounts)
- If more than 60% (80% for vouchers under KRW 10,000) of the voucher value is used, the remaining balance is fully refundable.
- If less than 60% (80% for vouchers under KRW 10,000) is used, a refund fee will be charged.
- Voucher purchase limits follow the seller’s policies. For credit card purchases, limits may vary by card issuer.
- Cash receipts are not issued upon voucher purchase. A prepaid receipt will be issued when using exchanged Smile Money.
- For offline payments at Shinsegae, Smile Money can be used together with discount coupons and Shinsegae point accumulation.

- This voucher must be exchanged for Smile Money before use. (Cannot be used directly)
- SmilePay, Gmarket, or Auction membership is required to exchange.
- Exchanged Smile Money can be checked on Gmarket, Auction (MY), or the SmilePay app.
- Once exchanged, the voucher cannot be refunded or canceled.
- Smile Money usage is subject to Smile Payments terms and conditions.

[Expiration Date Policy]
1. You can only extend the expiration date of valid gift cards up to the day before expiration.
2. Expiration date can be extended on a 93 days basis, but it cannot exceed 5 years from the date of initial issuance.
3. To extend expiration date of a valid gift card, contact inumber customer support at (1644-5093). Customer service hours are from Monday through Friday (9 AM to 6 PM KST).
[Cancellation and Refund Policy]
1. Before the initial expiration date: Used exchange vouchers cannot be canceled or refunded. For unused exchange vouchers, the purchaser may leave an inquiry via the Sodagift chatbot at the bottom-right of sodagift.com, and we will review it and process the refund.
2. After the initial expiration date: The recipient must call the inumber Customer Center (1644-5093) to request a refund. The refund rules after the initial validity period has expired are as follows:
- For gift certificates with a face value exceeding KRW 50,000: 95% of the purchase amount will be refunded.
- For gift certificates with a face value of KRW 50,000 or less: 90% of the purchase amount will be refunded.
※ Applicable to - Limited to gift certificates issued on or after January 1, 2026. (However, gift certificates issued prior to this date will be refunded at 90%.)
3. Refund requests for exchange vouchers whose validity period has expired may only be made within 5 years from the initial issue date.
4. If you did not purchase the gift certificate directly from Sodagift and received it from a company instead, please contact that company directly.
